Submission Guidelines and Manuscript Preparation
Follow these steps to ensure a smooth submission and peer review process
Step-by-Step Submission Process
- Create an account or log in at our Submission Portal.
- Select “New Submission” and choose the article type (e.g., Research, Review, Short Communication).
- Fill in all required metadata: title, authors, abstract, and keywords.
- Upload your manuscript file (.docx or .pdf) and any supplementary materials.
- Confirm submission by accepting the journal’s publication ethics and license agreement.
Technical Formatting Instructions
- File format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF only
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Line spacing: Double-spaced with 1-inch margins
- Line numbers: Continuous throughout the manuscript
- Page numbers: Bottom-right of every page
- Figure/Table Placement: Embedded within the text or uploaded separately
Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Material
Figures should be submitted in high-resolution formats (PNG, TIFF, or JPEG, 300 DPI minimum). Tables must be editable—not embedded as images. Supplementary files (datasets, code, appendices) must be labeled clearly and referenced within the text.
Reference Style
AAC follows the ACS (American Chemical Society) citation style. All references must be complete and properly formatted at submission. Use reference management software such as EndNote, Zotero, or Mendeley if needed.
Before You Submit
- Ensure your manuscript is free from plagiarism (checked via iThenticate)
- Confirm ethical compliance for any human/animal research
- Include ethical declarations: conflict of interest, funding, and author contributions
- Make sure all co-authors approve the submission
