A Comprehensive Guide for Preparing and Submitting Manuscripts to AAC

Scope of Submissions

Annals of Advances in Chemistry (AAC) accepts original research articles, reviews, short communications, editorials, and case studies that fall within the broad scope of chemistry. Submissions must be scientifically sound, ethically compliant, and contribute meaningfully to the field.

Manuscript Preparation

  • File Format: Submissions should be in .docx or .pdf format.
  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English.
  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced.
  • Margins: 1-inch on all sides.
  • Line Numbers: Use continuous line numbering to aid review.

Manuscript Structure

  • Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, and contact information.
  • Abstract: Structured abstract (150–250 words) with key objectives and findings.
  • Keywords: 4–6 keywords relevant to the article.
  • Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion: Standard IMRAD format.
  • References: Use ACS citation style (American Chemical Society).
  • Figures & Tables: Include with captions; embed or upload separately.

Ethical Declarations

Authors must include the following statements where applicable:

  • Conflict of Interest Declaration
  • Funding Acknowledgement
  • Author Contributions
  • Ethics Approval (for studies involving human or animal subjects)

Supplementary Files

Authors may submit additional data, figures, datasets, or code as supplementary material. These files must be clearly labeled and referenced within the main manuscript.

Plagiarism and Originality

All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection tools (e.g., iThenticate). Manuscripts must be original and unpublished, and must not be under consideration elsewhere.
