Waiver Policy
Supporting Global Research Access with Fair and Equitable Publishing Opportunities
Eligibility and Purpose
Annals of Advances in Chemistry (AAC) offers waivers on a case-by-case basis, primarily based on the author's country classification. We recognize that certain institutions and researchers, especially from developing or underfunded regions, may lack adequate funding for research dissemination. Our waiver policy aims to ease the financial barrier while continuing to maintain rigorous academic standards.
Our Commitment
Our mission is to accelerate the global dissemination of high-quality research without placing undue financial burden on scholars. We provide partial or full waivers for authors from Low Income and Middle-Income Countries as classified by the World Bank, as well as for those who submit compelling, genuine reasons for support.
Waiver Coverage
- Up to 50% waiver may be granted for qualified authors
- Full waiver considered for authors from underdeveloped nations with limited access to publication funding
- Waivers do not influence editorial decisions or the peer-review process
Application Procedure
Authors must apply for a waiver at the time of manuscript submission. The waiver request should be directed to the journal’s official email with:
- The manuscript tracking number
- A clear explanation of the financial need
- Request from the corresponding author only
If the waiver is requested post-acceptance, it must be submitted before payment is made. Applications received after invoice payment will not be considered.
Editorial Independence
Please note that an author’s inability to pay APC will have no bearing on the editorial or peer review decision. All submissions are reviewed objectively and ethically, ensuring fair access and quality-driven publication outcomes for all contributors.
