Upholding Ethical Conduct Across the Publication Lifecycle

The Annals of Advances in Chemistry (AAC) is dedicated to ensuring the integrity of the academic record through responsible editorial practices, ethical peer review, and transparent authorship. Editorial Standards

Authorship Ethics

Authors must ensure that all contributors meet authorship criteria and that all individuals listed as authors have approved the submitted version. Ghostwriting, gift authorship, and fraudulent attribution are strictly prohibited.

All authors are required to disclose relevant financial or non-financial conflicts of interest, and declare all sources of research funding.

Peer Review Ethics

  • Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise
  • All reviews are confidential and single-blind
  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest
  • Constructive feedback and professional tone are required

Handling Misconduct

  • Allegations of plagiarism, falsification, or duplicate publication are investigated
  • Corrective actions may include rejection, retraction, or institutional notification
  • Published corrections and retractions are clearly identified and linked to the original article

Ethical Oversight

AAC reserves the right to request raw data, institutional ethics approvals, or author clarifications when needed. The journal follows ethical oversight practices to uphold the transparency and credibility of the research it publishes.
