Reviewer Guidelines
Your Role in Safeguarding Scientific Rigor and Publication Quality at AAC
Reviewers for Annals of Advances in Chemistry (AAC) provide vital, unbiased assessments of submitted manuscripts. We depend on your expertise, ethical integrity, and commitment to the scientific community.

1. Evaluate Scientific Merit
Assess originality, significance, methods, clarity, and impact. Determine whether the manuscript aligns with the journal’s scope and standards.

2. Provide Constructive Feedback
Offer detailed, actionable comments to help authors improve. Be respectful and professional—even when rejecting.

3. Identify Ethical Concerns
Flag any suspected plagiarism, image manipulation, or ethical oversights (human/animal subjects, data fraud, etc.).

4. Respect Review Deadlines
Complete reviews within 14–21 days. Inform the editorial office if an extension or reassignment is needed.

5. Maintain Confidentiality
Do not share, discuss, or use manuscript content for personal gain. Reviews must remain confidential at all stages.

6. Remain Objective
Avoid personal bias. Focus on the manuscript—not the author identity. Follow AAC's single-blind review protocol.
